Youth Programs

Cape Cod Community Rowing (previously Cape Cod Youth Rowing) offers a variety of programs for all ages and all stages of interest, from Spring to Fall.  Based at Long Pond in Harwich, our goal is to maintain the lowest possible fees and get more youth out on the water.  We invite you to visit Regatta Central (by clicking the link below) to see our current listing of programs or contact us to learn more.  Please note: we are currently undergoing a name change and registration at Regatta Central may still reflect our previous name "Cape and Islands Rowing Association, Inc." during this process.

The CCCR team comprises middle school and high school rowers across Cape Cod. Rowing is a capital-intensive sport requiring expensive equipment and a time commitment. For a rowing program to be successful, it must be supported by an active group of parents, a generous community of supporters, and an active boosters club.

A boosters club has been formed by rowing community members, coaches, and parents to support the youth program. The CCCR Boosters Club is open to all parents and friends interested in helping organize the team's many needs. A sampling of the volunteer opportunities includes:

  • Coordinating/preparing food for regattas
  • Communications between parents
  • Communications with coaches
  • Transportation to regattas
  • Taking pictures
  • Support of fundraising

If you are interested in joining the Boosters Club, have a question, or would like more information on the committees, please see a coach or email us at cira@capeandislandsrowing.com.
