OUR ANNUAL CLUB SPRINT REGATTA WILL RETURN IN AUGUST 2024! 

Compete in a 1000-meter course in our signature event and join the community for a fun-filled morning. Since 2017, Cape Cod Community Rowing, Inc. has hosted a timed regatta, where youth and master rowers compete against each other for the fastest time.  This year, rowers will have the opportunity to compete with an exciting twist; they must turn around a ‘stake’ mid-race. 

Join us on the water or just come out and cheer! The Cranberry Sprints are always a fun experience as youth and masters showcase their speed and technique with the spectators cheering them on from the beach.  As with most CCCR events, participants experience food and laughter along with a friendly dose of competition.  Members are welcoming and willing to answer questions regarding our club, the race format, equipment, or anything else that piques their interest.  We see the Cranberry Sprints as our touchstone to the community, strengthening our bond and building recognition of our purpose.

In 2023 we celebrated our new name, Cape Cod Community Rowing, Inc. (formerly Cape and Islands Rowing Association, Inc.) and gave special thanks to those who have been with us since the beginning.

The Details:

Time: Saturday, August 17, 2024.   5:30 AM - Registration and warm up,  6:00 AM Racing begins, 9:15 AM Award Winners

Who: All ages -- from 12 to 90.  Join in and row, or come out to join the community to cheer!

Where:  Long Pond Beach, Long Pond Drive, Harwich

Fee:  Free!

Join the Regatta to row for a great cause!  If you cannot row, we invite you to support our youth through a donation or sponsorship as we strive to encourage them to participate as valued team and community members.  Details on sponsorship are available to download here.
