Spring Crew Season

Get Ready for the Spring Rowing Season!

We invite Middle and High School students to join the Cape Cod Community Rowing youth team. Designed for both new and experienced rowers, our Spring program focuses on foundational rowing concepts and training to improve skills and prepare the rowers for confidence in competition.
Meet our Coaches:
Head Coach Al Flander has extensive experience leading high school, college, and elite rowers toward competitive success since 1979. A familiar face to Cape Cod rowers, Coach Al has also run the programs at neighboring Orleans Sweeps and Sculls for the past fifteen years. A resident of Orleans since 2016, Al can also be found rowing himself and training to improve his own regatta results!
Al will be joined by long-time club member and returning crew assistant Patrick Otton. An accomplished boat builder, Patrick provides assistance to the club in many ways, including overseeing equipment and its maintenance. He's also an avid rower who brings a passion for the sport to our youth program's success.
